OPENING HOURS: Monday: CLOSED; Tuesday to Saturday 10-5:30; Sunday : 11 – 5:30
We are an independent, award winning, garden centre and florist in the heart of Battersea. It really is a beautiful and magical place, with top quality plants, pots, flowers, compost and gardening tools & paraphanalia, with a cute greetings card shop too. We are open 6 days a week (7 in the summer), and our team are lovely, friendly, and are here to help you. It’s our team, and our ethos, that make us stand out, and our customers, and their loyalty, are the reason we’ve been here since 2012. Come visit!
Flowers
We have a lovely selection of fresh flowers in store every day (and that changes every day). We also offer 2 special weekly hand-tied bouquets – that change every week – available in store.
House Plants & Pots
We have 2 big greenhouses here at Battersea Flower Station bursting with houseplants – from tall ficus to teeny cactus. We always try and have some favourites – spider plants, venus fly traps, cheese plants, a huge selection of cactus and other succulents, plus all kinds of lush greenery for your home, with a big selection of indoor pots – pick your plant, pick your pot.
Outdoor Plants and Pots
We have all kinds of plants for your garden or balcony – visit our friendly team and we can help you work out what’s best for your space. We always try and have olive trees, lemon trees, strawberry trees, screening plants, seasonal flowering plants and everything in between.
Compost
We have all sizes of compost in store – 10 litre bags with handles, all the way to 60 litre. We only stock top quality compost, and we have peat free options. If you only want a little bit, we sell compost by the scoop (70p).

We’ve been painting. It’s all about yellow today it seems. A little bit of a revamp. We are going to be closed (sorry) this Monday but full service resumes from Tuesday.

We’re looking for two people who are looking for some weekend work (not all weekend or every weekend .. unless we find someone who wants to give up all of their weekends !) throughout the Spring and Summer season. You must be cheery and friendly to our lovely customers. If you know about plants all the better, but we can teach you that part. Please feel free to spread the word and if you’re interested please email hello@batterseaflowerstation.co.uk .. we cant take applications through other channels (such as Instagram messages). We pay the recommended London Living Wage and if we say so ourselves it’s a lovely place to work. We look forward to hearing from you (or your friends).
